Just as the “Neuroplasticity” guitar tracking was done, Helge Nørbygaard kept writing new material.
From a journey through a very personal stressful time came “Gidinawendimin”. It wasn’t all straightforward, but in 2022 HELGE finished all the demo songs and they came out strong.
With more intensity and a melancholic soundscape, but still a beautiful spiritual atmosphere “Gidinawendimin” let your mind, body, and heart connect. When the music is fast, it’s really fast and when the drums hit, it’s heavy as stones.

“Gidinawendimin” is about when life gives you light and darkness, but you keep standing.
Standing stronger as a firekeeper, strong at heart. It’s about all the emotions of being a family under the same roof as dementia, sorrow, stress, frustration, pain and seeing life fade. But also seeing the beauty of it all and accepting the way things are. That’s what you get on HELGE’S second album “Gidinawendimin”.

The album is mixed and mastered by the great producer Jacob Hansen (Volbeat, U.D.O., Invocator, The Black Dahlia Murder etc.)
